All Men are Brothers: Blood of the Leopard
Manufacturer: Mei Ah
Sound: Dolby 2.1
Languages: Cantonese, Mandarin
Subtitles: Chinese/English (burned-in)
Extras: "data bank" (cast/crew list and plot synopsis), trailers for "I Will Wait for You" and "Modern Romance"
Another bare-bones DVD from Mei Ah. The picture is pretty nice, with good color saturation (though there are scratches in parts), and the sound mix isn't booming, but it is nice and clear. However, it seems to have been fomatted at the wrong aspect ratio, since the subtitles sometimes disappear off the edges and bottom of the screen. Speaking of the subs, like most Chinese/English ones, there's lots of grammatical errors, and they are impossible to read at times. As for the extras, as usual, nothing to get excited about here -- they didn't even included the trailer for the movie, instead giving us a couple of ones for romantic comedies. Despite the problems, the disc is still watchable and good for a rental if you just want to check out the movie.
Note: there is another cover for this disc (pictured below), but as far as I can tell, they are the same. It was most likely changed to get rid of the "laopard" spelling error on the original cover.
