ARCHIVE

The following are some interesting things that I've come across on the Web and think are worth saving.
I do NOT take credit for any of this stuff and will try to give details where I found it if possible.

Tai Seng Catalog (PDF file)

This is a complete catalog of all of Tai Seng's releases up until late 2003-early 2004. I'm not sure who made this or where I found it, but here you go.

Hong Kong Film Archive Filmography (PDF file)

Courtesy of the Hong Kong Film Archive, this is a complete list of every Hong Kong movie produced there from 1913 to June 2004. As you might imagine, this is a big file, so 56kers might just want to download it.

Hong Kong Film Guarantee Fund (PDF file)

A listing of the movies and box office take (as of March 2005) of the productions that were funded in part by the Hong Kong government's Film Guarantee Fund, which provides loans to locally-produced movies. I just stumbled across this while Googling "Shaolin Vs. Evil Dead", which is one of the movies on the list.

Tony Leung Chiu Wai Interview (MP3 file)

An interview with Tony Leung Chiu Wai during the promotion of the US release of "2046" from WNYC (New York City public radio). Thanks to Tin Lun Lau from the KFCC Forums for pointing out the original link.

Stephen Chow Interview (MP3 file)

An interview with Stephen Chow during the promotion of the US release of "Kung Fu Hustle" from WNYC.

The original Hong Kong movies FAQ (text file)

A text version of the FAQ written by Lars-Erik Holmquist way back in 1994. It was found at www.funet.fi/pub/culture/tv+film/HongKong/HongKong.FAQ.gz and re-formatted by yours truly.
