The Jackie Chan Collection
Presentation
This 2-DVD set comes packaged in a regular plastic DVD case. There are eight films included. The first disc (which is double-sided) has Operation Condor (aka Armour of God 2, Operation Condor 2: The Armor of God (aka Armour of God), Dragon Lord, and Twin Dragons. The second disc (which is single-sided) contains Jackie Chan's Project A (aka Project A), Jackie Chan's Project A 2 (aka Project A II), Supercop (aka Police Story 3: Supercop), and The Accidental Spy. The cover art is from Operation Condor and features Jackie in the same black t-shirt he seemingly wore on all of the covers of the US versions of his films.
The Movies
Echo Bridge licensed these films from Miramax/Dimension, so these are the versions present on the discs. This means they are English dubbed and, in some cases, cut and/or re-edited from their original Hong Kong release. So if you're looking for the definitive versions of these movies, this is definitely not the source. However, seeing as you can get this set for five dollars, it would still be worth picking up to have a cheap extra copy of these films or as a gift for a Jackie Chan neophyte.

The Extras Umm... well... the first disc has a chapter select menu. And that's about it. But for a $5 DVD set that has eight movies, did you really expect any? |
