This recent police drama features a lead character (played by Daniel Wu) who chooses to go to the arcade to play the soccer game Virtua Striker rather than going out drinking with his fellow officers (which is a regular activity in Asia, as the game is hugely popular as an after-work activity with many people). This actually figures into the plot, as one of his opponents turns out to be the gangster he is later sent undercover to get.
