This series of brawlers features a character named King, who seems to have been heavily based off of Cynthia Rothrock, a caucasian martial arts star who got her start in Hong Kong productions such as Yes Madam. In a strange parallel to Rothrock's film career, the character has been "softened" in later games and re-designed to look and act more "feminine".
